It targets positions such as:<\/p><ul><li>Project managers,<\/li><li>Research administrators,<\/li><li>Project coordinators,<\/li><li>Staff in project departments, technology transfer centers, and similar roles.<\/li><\/ul><div>\u00a0<\/div><p>The training is <strong>not intended<\/strong> for individual researchers.<\/p><h4><strong>What is the goal of the training?<\/strong><\/h4><p>The training aims to help participants:<\/p><ul><li>Better understand EU research and innovation policies,<\/li><li>Comprehend their impact on Horizon Europe projects,<\/li><li>Build new contacts,<\/li><li>Develop networking skills,<\/li><li>Share examples of best practices in project management.<\/li><\/ul><h4><strong style=\"color: inherit; font-family: inherit; font-size: 1.5rem; letter-spacing: var( --e-global-typography-text-letter-spacing ); text-align: var(--text-align);\">Programme\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4><p>The training <strong>typically lasts three days<\/strong>, is conducted in English, and includes:<\/p><ul><li>Presentations by speakers from European Commission organizations,<\/li><li>Lectures by other field experts,<\/li><li>Interactive activities.<\/li><\/ul><h4><strong>Who covers the costs?<\/strong><\/h4><p>The training itself is free of charge. However, active participation on all training days is required. Travel costs are covered by the participant&#8217;s sending organization.<\/p><h4><strong>How to apply?<\/strong><\/h4><p>The training has a capacity of 35 participants:<\/p><ul><li>7 seats for each Visegrad country,<\/li><li>7 seats for participants from other countries represented in the <a href=\"https:\/\/iglortd.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IGLO network<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul><p>Applicants from Slovak organizations can apply based on a call published on our website. Applications are submitted through an online questionnaire, providing basic information about work experience and motivation.<\/p><p>Applicants from other countries need to register via their IGLO Liaison Office.<\/p><p><strong>The application process for the Spring 2026 edition taking <b>place on 09 &#8211; 11 March 2026<\/b> has been CLOSED. We will inform you about the next open call in due time. <\/strong><\/p><h4><strong>Selection Process<\/strong><\/h4><h5><strong>What do we expect from you?<\/strong><\/h5><ul><li>Basic knowledge of EU framework programs for research and innovation,<\/li><li>At least initial experience with their operation,<\/li><li>Interest in developing your skills,<\/li><li>A clear intention for your organization to actively participate in Horizon Europe, or prior experience in one of the framework programs (Horizon Europe, H2020, or FP7) with an ambition to enhance your success rate.<\/li><\/ul><h5><strong>Conditions for applying<\/strong><\/h5><ul><li>The applicant must be employed by a public or private institution involved in research and innovation based in <b>countries:\u00a0<\/b>Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, \u00a0Ireland, Israel, Italy, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, The Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Slovenia,\u00a0 Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.\u00a0<\/li><li>The same individual can participate in the training only once per framework program period (EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation).<\/li><li>Conditions for Slovak participants are specified on <a href=\"https:\/\/slord.sk\/nase-sluzby\/v4-trening\/\">this website<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul><h4><strong>Evaluation<\/strong><\/h4><p>SLORD reserves the right to select participants. The selection will be based on the information and motivation provided in the application. Applications will be evaluated considering the target participant profile and our goal to provide this opportunity to a diverse group of individuals and institutions.<\/p><p>If the number of quality applications exceeds the number of available spots, only one applicant per organization will be selected.
