In the context of (not only) European research and innovation, Brussels is a unique place where EU policies are shaped and where related European funding and new strategic initiatives are developed.
Thanks to the presence of stakeholders from across Europe and beyond, Brussels is an ideal place to establish new contacts and increase one’s visibility and impact. Currently, more than 160 European universities have some form of representation in Brussels.
With the aim of advancing Slovak universities in this area, the SLORD office offers a dedicated program for university liaison officers who can spend a year as guests at its offices in Brussels.
This service aims to:
- strengthen the university’s presence in Brussels through its own liaison representative;
- facilitate an intensive exchange of information, knowledge, experience, and contacts;
- increase the university’s visibility in the international environment of Brussels;
- develop joint activities or events that contribute to better networking and a more strategic position for the university within the ERA.
