National Contact Points (NCPs)
is the main support structure at national level for expert advice, guidance, practical information and assistance on all aspects of participation in the Framework Programme for potential applicants, regardless of sector or scientific discipline. The main activity is to inform the research and innovation community about the Framework Programme, as well as to support applicants and project developers from the stage of project proposal preparation, through implementation to project closure.
Slovak Liaison Office for Research and Development in Brussels (SLORD) cooperates with the NCP network, focuses on monitoring European policies and instruments to support research and innovation, with an emphasis on the current Framework Programme, provides targeted and expert information to potential applicants, facilitates contacts with European institutions and foreign organisations and offers Slovak researchers the opportunity to use meeting rooms to organise project meetings, seminars, negotiations and training sessions directly in its premises in Brussels.
The NCP network based in Bratislava and the SLORD office in Brussels organise a range of free professional and informative events, such as information days, partner exchanges, workshops, conferences, trainings, lectures and other events.
