The scheme will provide outstanding researchers with the resources, supportive conditions, and institutional support required to establish and lead their own research teams, pursue innovative research directions, and produce results of international significance. The IMPULZ scheme also aims to enhance the excellence, internationalisation, and competitiveness of the Slovak Academy of Sciences.
Eligibility criteria
- The applicant must hold a PhD or equivalent at the time of application.
- In the case of early-career researchers, the applicant must demonstrate scientific independence from their dissertation supervisor.
- The applicant must demonstrate relevant international research experience and scientific productivity and international recognition within their specific
field. - The applicant must demonstrate the ability to lead the proposed research team and to secure competitive funding on a longterm basis.
