Central and Eastern European countries strengthen cooperation on artificial intelligence

Nine Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries signed the Prague Declaration on Artificial Intelligence on 3 September 2026.

The European Commission will support 73 projects in the field of research infrastructures, including initiatives involving Slovak participation.

The event in Albania will bring together experts, and key stakeholders from across the Western Balkans and the EU.
