All proposals with Slovak participation succeeded under the Euratom Research and Training Programme 2021 Call

The European Commission signed 28 new grant agreements under the Euratom Research and Training Programme 2021-2022. All project proposals with Slovak partners were successful in receiving grants, marking Slovak participation rate in this call at 35% and its success rate at 100%. Below you can find a comprehensive table of awarded proposals and their partners from Slovakia.

Next to this, the Commission launched the co-funded new European Partnership for research in radiation protection and detection of ionising radiation, PIANOFORTE, aiming towards a safer use and improved protection of the people and of the environment, which will also receive funding from the 2021 call for proposals. Slovakia is represented by the Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic in this partnership.

The total budget for the call is €100 million. The Commission has received 51 proposals covering all 16 topics as defined in the Euratom Work Programme 2021-2022. These activities will contribute to improving nuclear safety, radiation protection, and safe use of nuclear power and of non-power applications of ionising radiation.

This partnership will complement 2 already existing ones in implementing the Euratom Research and Training Programme:

  • EUROfusion – European Consortium for Development of Fusion Energy
  • EURAD – European Partnership in radioactive waste management
