TSSG je medzinárodné centrum excelencie v oblasti výskumu ICT. Centrum sa zameriava najmä na komunikačné technológie a služby spojené s informatizáciou. 4 prioritné oblasti výskumu zahŕňajú mobilné platformy a služby, analýzu dát, adaptívne siete a služby a rozšírenú a virtuálnu realitu.
