The Atlas of Roma communities 2013 (“Atlas 2013”) is aimed to monitor the selected indicators (abreast of territorial distribution and living conditions) in relation to the Roma community in Slovakia by far the most extensive research till now. It is unique not only in the Slovak context but also in the international.
Atlas 2013 was implemented by United Nations Development Programme in collaboration with the Department of Roma Studies of the University of Presov, the Office of the Plenipotentiary of the Government of the Slovak Republic for Roma Communities and the Slovak Association of Towns and Municipalities as part of a broader program of cooperation between United Nations Development Programme and The Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic.
